Finalizing thesis-publication documentation!

Since Sunday in the early evening, I am now MFA certified.
What does this mean?
A Bridge-Building, Cross-Cultural Art Project That’s Also Delicious -
The NY Times recently did a quick story on a project at the Havana Bienal that I was fortunate enough to be able to stop by and check out during open hours. While there, drinking mojitos from the open bar, I had a nice talk with Elizabeth Grady about the project, that falls within a category ripe for expansion. I’m talking about the messy conflation of the visual and culinary art communities. Not without its problematic elements, the Proyector Paladar was really great to visit and learn about. To my knowledge it was the only American contribution to the Bienal, which is exciting in its actualized means to explore inter-cultural exchange via hungry bellies.

Just returned from a week-long trip to Havana, Cuba with a small and pleasantly diverse contingent of Museum School folk, primarily to attend this.
More to come about finishing up my MFA, the trip, summer plans, and beyond. And of course some more thesis documentation.
